Every July and August for more than half a century, a professional repertory company has taken over the natural amphitheater at Sand Harbor. The stage sits just above the waterline, so as the evening light goes gold and the boats swing at anchor behind the actors, the setting quietly steals every scene.
The 2026 season —” the Festival's 54th —” runs July 3 through August 23, headlined by Macbeth and the swashbuckling The Heart of Robin Hood, playing in rotation Tuesdays —“Sundays at 7:30 pm. On other nights the Showcase Series fills the stage with concerts and touring performers, so there's something on almost every evening of summer.
