Owned by the community of Incline Village, Diamond Peak is the antidote to the big corporate resorts. It's compact, friendly and refreshingly uncrowded — and the views are unbeatable, with runs that point straight down at the blue of Lake Tahoe.
The Crystal Express chair climbs to some of the best lake panoramas in skiing, while the lower mountain's gentle terrain and ski school make it a favorite for families and first-timers. Lift lines are short and prices are friendlier than the Epic and Ikon giants.
